We believe in clear, upfront pricing. Here is exactly what is and is not covered by our flat fees.
What 'Flat Fee' Means
A flat fee means the legal fee for the specific services listed in the package is fixed — you will not receive an unexpected billable hours invoice for that work. However, flat fees apply only to the stated scope. Additional work, complexity, or out-of-pocket disbursements are not included.What Flat Fees Include

- Drafting or review within scope

What Is Not Included
- HST (13% on all legal fees)
- Government filing fees and registration fees
- Court filing fees
- Process server and courier fees
- Third-party reports and appraisals
- Rush fees for urgency surcharges
- Work outside the stated package scope
- Complex negotiations or contested hearings
- Appeals or additional proceedings
- Additional parties, documents, or complexity

Flat fee prices are guaranteed only for the stated scope. The firm reserves the right to provide a revised quote or decline the matter if:
- The matter is more complex than described
- Additional work is required beyond the package scope
- Urgency, contested proceedings, or complications arise
- A conflict of interest is found
No work will begin without your written confirmation of any revised scope or pricing.
