Family Court — Materials Preparation
Every step in a family court proceeding requires specific forms, affidavits, and documents — and preparing them correctly is critical. Errors or omissions in filed materials can delay your proceeding, attract cost awards, or weaken your position. This service covers the preparation of required Ontario family court materials, including meeting with you to obtain your instructions, drafting the materials, execution of any required affidavit or financial statement (sworn before a commissioner), and arranging service on the other party and filing with the court.
Pricing ranges from $1,000 to $2,000 + HST depending on the complexity and volume of materials required. Common materials covered include Answers, Replies, motion records, affidavits of documents, Continuing Record updates, and Form 13/13.1 Financial Statements.
