CUSMA Professionals Work Permit

CUSMA, formerly known as NAFTA, allows certain eligible professionals from Canada, the United States, and Mexico to apply for work authorization without a Labour Market Impact Assessment where the occupation, job offer, credentials, and applicant nationality meet the requirements. This service assists eligible professionals and employers with assessing CUSMA eligibility, organizing the required documents, preparing the work permit package, and addressing the applicant's qualifications, job duties, and employer support materials.

Government fees are separate from the legal fee. The employer compliance fee is generally $230 and is paid by the employer. The work permit government fee is generally $155. Biometrics are generally $85 if required.
