Simple Personal Will
A will is one of the most important legal documents you can have. Without one, your estate may be distributed under Ontario's default intestacy rules, which may not reflect your wishes and may create unnecessary stress, delay, and expense for your family.
This package is intended for individuals with relatively straightforward estate-planning needs. It is suitable for many people who want to name an estate trustee, leave their property to a spouse, children, relatives, friends, or charities, and provide clear instructions about how their estate should be handled.
The starting price applies to simple personal wills. The price may increase where the matter involves added complexity, including blended families, multiple beneficiaries, excluded family members, minor children, dependants with disabilities, unusual gifting arrangements, business interests, real estate in multiple jurisdictions, tax planning issues, or other circumstances requiring additional legal work.

Many wills are straightforward, but estate planning can become complex quickly — blended families, business interests, disabled dependants, or tax concerns all add legal work. The starting price keeps the service accessible for simple matters while allowing the lawyer to quote a higher fee where the circumstances require more careful planning, additional drafting, or specialized advice.
